Assigning Access Groups to Job Posting Contracts

For SmartDistribute users, we now offer the ability for admins to configure which access groups at their organization should be able to use credits from job board contracts you added in SmartRecruiters, reducing credit waste and allowing your organization to budget and allocate your contracts.

In the Job Posting Contracts page, you will now see a new tab beside “Credits Overview” - Access Controls. In this tab, you can edit any active contract to configure user permissions.

  • Private refers to admin-only. Use this setting if you are working on configuring this contract and you do not want credits to be used yet.

  • Open means everyone at your organization that has permissions to advertise has access to use this contract to advertise a job.

  • Custom means only specified individuals or access groups at your organization will have access to use this contract to advertise a job.

Select Custom to configure which access groups should be able to use credits from the contracts at your organization.image6.png

For customers who use SmartDistribute, contracts that are available to use are now split on the Advertise page into a new section - Your Boards, to make it easier for recruiters to see the boards that their organization has made available to them to select as they are advertising jobs.

Build more robust descriptions for scorecards using rich text and referencing content via hyperlinks

For admins and recruiters, we now allow the ability to build more robust descriptions for scorecards in the library as well as on the jobs directly. Users can now format their scorecard descriptions to support the level of detail they want to include for the scorecards, as well as leverage hyperlinking to reference the right content onto the scorecards.


  • You can build detailed descriptions for scorecards whether you add the scorecards on the scorecard library or directly onto the job under the ‘Hiring Process’ tab

  • You can format your descriptions by bolding , italicizing, underlining, aligning your content as well as changing font color and size. 

  • You can add hyperlinks to web pages or content directly into the scorecard descriptions. All hyperlinks open content onto a new browser tab / page. 

  • The formatting is retained when the scorecards are displayed on the jobs on the ‘Hiring Process’ tab as well when you see the scorecards for evaluating candidates on the ‘Reviews’ tab
