Delightful Enhancements: September 16, 2021

Team Video Meeting Link in Interview Email

Microsoft Team meeting link is now displayed in the body of the meeting invite.

If you are using Google Meet, the link is also displayed in the body of the meeting invite.

Interviewers can now join the meeting by clicking on the ‘Click here to join the meeting’ hyperlinked text at the bottom of the meeting invite body.

SmartPal: Candidates can discover jobs by typing the job function in the chatbot.

Search for jobs in the chatbot using free text input. The chatbot is now smart enough to understand the job function and return the relevant jobs. For eg: "Show me delivery driver jobs".

In order to enable this feature, you will have to pick “profession-freetext” in the Search Flow of a chatbot.

Estonian now available on candidate facing pages

Estonian has been added to candidate facing pages including career pages, job ad, application process and job alerts. Estonian labels will appear where the job ad language is Estonian. It is not available as a SmartRecruit back-office language.

Webhooks: Delegated Approver and Skip Approver events

We have added 4 additional webhook events that webhook users will be able to subscribe to:

  • job.approver.skipped - Event callback will trigger when an approver of a job approval request is skipped

  • offer.approver.skipped - Event callback will trigger when an approver of an offer approval request is skipped.

  • job.approver.delegated - Event callback will trigger when a delegated approver is assigned by the original approver to substitute the original approver to approve the job for a selected period of time.

  • offer.approver.delegated - Event callback will trigger when a delegated approver is assigned by the original approver to substitute the original approver to approve the offer for a selected period of time.

“JobAdID” support in the Posting API

Clients consuming SmartRecruiters’ posting API postings/{postingId} endpoint to pull lists of jobs into their career sites didn’t have until now the ability to store and recognise jobs by the JobAdID: this has now been introduced and clients can identify in this way the the latest version of the job - which is specifically useful in scenario where the application has to create the Apply URL for the job.

Refer to our API documentation for implementation details.
