Delightful Enhancements: October 10, 2019

Report Builder: Screening Questions data

We’re releasing Screening Questions in Report Builder. Users will be able to build reports against applications with all screening question types, including Diversity type screening questions. Each screening question will include the following fields:

  • Screening question answer

  • If screening question was answered or not

The update also includes a Report Builder permission change.

We are going to be closing access to create reports for Extended users. Screening questions can contain sensitive data such as EEO, OFCCP and Diversity related responses. We wanted to provide an added layer of security to ensure this data can only be accessed by users who should have access.

Ideally, if the customer is comfortable with giving access to this sensitive data, then they can create a custom system role to allow Full access to Report Builder.

New Audit API Events: Job Fields Settings Update

New events will be landing on our list of Audit API. Our Audit API allows you to identify who performed certain actions in the system. Now you will be able to identify who made modifications in the job field settings or via job field configuration API through these 10 new events:

  1. JOB_PROPERTY_CREATED

  2. JOB_PROPERTY_UPDATED

  3. JOB_PROPERTY_ACTIVATED

  4. JOB_PROPERTY_DEACTIVATED

  5. JOB_PROPERTY_UPDATED_VALUES

  6. JOB_PROPERTY_UPDATED_VALUE

  7. JOB_PROPERTY_ADDED_VALUE

  8. JOB_PROPERTY_ARCHIVED_VALUE

  9. JOB_PROPERTY_DEPENDENT_PROPERTIES_UPDATED

  10. JOB_PROPERTY_DEPENDENT_VALUES_UPDATED

Global Compliance for Hired Candidates

Administrators can now set a separate data retention duration for hired candidates. This offers a new level of flexibility on top of existing retention periods for candidates who are rejected/withdrawn/removed from job. A default retention period can be set, as well as specific country-level retention. SmartRecruiters will auto-delete data for hired candidates who applied on or after October 4th, 2019 according to the data retention period that applies to each candidate.
