In each Source-to-Hire Analytics dashboard a time filter is always applied. Therefore it's crucial to know of the different time filters applied on each dashboards in order to better understand and leverage the result and metrics presented on the dashboards.
Position Target Start Date is the time filter applied on the Hiring Plan dashboard. Position with its Target Start Date falls within the selected time period will be included in the Hiring Plan dashboard results.
By comparing the Target Start Date (ideal starting date) of the position with other dates such as hire date and actual start date of the position, we can calculate different metrics such as hiring velocity that gives us insight on past hiring trends. Using these insights, users can make adjustment to optimize their future hiring plans.
Application Active State Enter Date is the time filter applied on the Candidate Pipeline dashboard. Applications that moved into one of the Active States (New, In Review, Interview, Offer, Hired) within the selected time period will be included in the Candidate Pipeline dashboard results.
Candidate Pipeline dashboard focuses on helping users to understand the movement of applications in the hiring process. Since movement of application is key, Application Active State Enter Date is used to avoid counting applications that are idled in the same state over the selected time period.
Interview Enter Date and Interview Creation Date are time filters used in the Interviews dashboard. Interviews that were scheduled before the end of selected period or took place within the selected time period will be included in the Interviews dashboard results.
Interviews dashboard consists of metrics such as Interviews over time, which intends to help users understand interview efficiency. Therefore all interviews, including interviews that are scheduled but not happening during the selected time period are also counted.
Position Hires Date is the time filter used in the Hires dashboard. Position with it's Hires Date falls within the selected time period will be included in the Hires dashboard.
Hires dashboard focuses on analyzing hired candidates and that is why Position Hired Date is used instead of Position Target Start Date.
Position Target Start Date is the time filter applied on the Hiring Success dashboard. Position with it's Target Start Date falls within the selected time period will be included in the Hiring Success dashboard results.
Like Hiring Plan dashboard, Hiring Success dashboard is intended to provide predictive analysis using past hiring trend and hiring quality to users. By comparing Target Start Date with other date such as hire date and actual start date, we calculate different metrics like hiring velocity that help us create a plan for hiring.
