What happens when I copy a job?


On the first step of the Job Posting Wizard (Create), when you start typing into the Job Title field, SmartRecruiters shows you a list of similarly-titled jobs.

If you choose a job under the Copy the Job heading in the list, you'll simply copy the following information from the previous job ad to the new ad:

  • Company description
  • Job description
  • Qualifications
  • Additional information (but not the location),
  • Board Performance fields (Function, Industry, Type of employment, Experience level)
  • Scorecard data

Copying a job does not copy over selections for Custom Job Fields on the Details page or the scorecards assigned to the previous job.
