Create, send, and manage personalized job offers from the Offer tab on the candidate profile.


SmartRecruiters places the entire offer management process in one place, on the Offer tab of the candidate profile.

  • Companies can create personalized offers from templates, send them via email or optional DocuSign integration, and monitor the candidate's responses.
  • For those with offer approvals in place, the offer creator can submit the offer for approval and track approvals.

Only users with full access to the job can send offers or view offer details or related messages. When the candidate responds, these users can either mark the candidate as hired or withdrawn.




  • How do I hire a candidate?

    If you've sent the candidate an offer through SmartRecruiters, you'll be able to hire them as part of the offer management process on the Offer tab.

    If you handle offers offline, just open the More list and click Hire to confirm hiring.

  • What happens when a candidate responds to an offer with a signed PDF?

    SmartRecruiters will add the PDF as an attachment to the candidate's profile. Both the candidate's response and the PDF attachment will be visible only to hiring team members with full access to the job.

  • Why can't I mark this candidate as Hired?

    If you find yourself unable to mark a candidate as hired for a job, it's likely because your organization has active Job Approvals and the job does not have enough positions to fill. With active Job Approvals, each job must have one open position for each candidate.  

    To mark an additional candidate as hired for that job, you'll need to add a position to the job.
