Set up Facebook Careers app

SmartRecruiters' Facebook Careers App adds a Careers page to your corporate Facebook account and helps you market your SmartRecruiters jobs and drive referrals and social shares throughout your network. The Careers page automatically synchronizes with your SmartRecruiters account and displays your open, published jobs.

With more than a billion people on Facebook worldwide, marketing your jobs on Facebook to fans of your company is an easy way to engage qualified candidates. A SmartRecruiters' Facebook Careers page makes it easy for people who view your jobs to share them with other people in their network.


To set up the Facebook Careers App, you'll need:

  • a company page on Facebook. Create one if you don't already have one.  
  • an Administrator account for that Facebook page.


To get started:

  1. Log into the company Facebook page.
  2. In SmartRecruiters, navigate to Settings / Admin.
  3.  Click Facebook App in Career Page Setup list.
  4. Your browser will open a new tab or window and take you to the Careers Tab Facebook page. Click Install App from the page.
  5. After installation, open the Careers App page, and enter your SmartRecruiters login information.

The App will pull in your current published jobs, and update each time your add or remove a job.
