Locale preferences

SmartRecruiters has two settings for customizing the user experience around your location:

  • Language
  • Timezone

Languages

Editions:
  • Smartstart
  • Corporate
  • Global

To change your language:

  1. Navigate to Settings / Admin.
  2. Click Locale Preference in the My Account list.
  3. Select a language from the list.

    Supported languages

    SmartRecruiters' user interface is available in 12 languages:

    • English (US)
    • French (France)
    • French (Canada)
    • German
    • Chinese (Simplified)
    • Lithuanian
    • Polish
    • Portuguese (Brasil)
    • Russian
    • Spanish (Spain)
    • Spanish (Latin America)
    • Swedish

    Your actual list of available languages (in Locale Preferences) will depend on your company's Edition, and whether your company has purchased one or more languages.

  4. Click Save Changes

SmartRecruiters will reload and display all text in your chosen language.

Timezone

Plans:
  • Personal
  • Team
  • Corporate

SmartRecruiters uses your timezone settings:

  • to determine when to send emails. For example, when you have a scheduled interview, SmartRecruiters sends an email reminder on the same day at about 12:30 AM using your timezone settings.
  • to set a default timezone in the Interview Scheduler.

To set your timezone

  1. Navigate to Settings / Admin.
  2. Click Locale Preference in the My Account list.
  3. Choose the timezone from the list.
