Advertising your jobs is the best way to recruit the best candidates for your jobs. SmartRecruiters makes it easy to post jobs to various paid job boards when you create a new job.

Introduction

To streamline the process of advertising, add a payment method to your profile so that you simply need to choose the right boards when you've created the job.

Accepted methods of payment 

You can either add a credit card to your account, or choose to have SmartRecruiters invoice you once a month for your purchases.

If you choose invoicing, keep in mind that SmartRecruiters will need to approve your account, and you'll need to add a credit card first and keep it on file. Approval can take up to 5 days

Are my credit card payments secure?

SmartRecruiters uses a leading third-party data security provider to store credit card information. Your card number and other sensitive details are not visible once saved and can only be edited by you. In addition, unless you explicitly share the payment method, no one on your account can use it.

Add credit card

 To add a new credit card:

  1. Navigate to Settings / Admin.
  2. Click Payment Methods in the My Purchases list.
  3. Click Add Payment Method.
  4. Click Add a Credit Card:
  5. For credit cards, you'll need the usual information: card and CVC number, expiration date and cardholder name.

  6. Next, enter the billing address associated with the card.
  7. Decide who at your company should be able to use this method to pay for things through the Marketplace.  
    • To restrict the payment method to yourself, leave No one selected.
    • To share it with specific users, choose the following people and type the names of those who should share it.

      They'll need to already have a SmartRecruiters user account, so you may need to return once they've joined.
  8. Click Save to finish. 

Invoice billing

To set up invoiced billing:

  1. Add a credit card. There must be a card on file.
  2. Click Request Invoice Billing. 
  3. Enter the billing information that you'd like on your account, including your phone and email.
  4. Decide who at your company should be able to use this method to pay for things through the Marketplace.  
    • To restrict the payment method to yourself, leave No one selected.
    • To share it with specific users, choose the following people and type the names of those who should share it.

      They'll need to already have a SmartRecruiters user account, so you may need to return once they've joined.
  5. Confirm that you'll keep a valid credit card on file.
  6. Click Submit Request.
