SmartRecruiters offers a comprehensive Talent Acquisition Suite (TAS) that candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters openly embrace and regularly use. Corporations can rest assured that with SmartRecruiters, they have the partner they need to attract, select, and hire the right talent, on-demand and on-budget. The TAS’ user-centric design makes it easy for recruiters and hiring teams to readily use the platform to collaborate closely in identifying and engaging with candidates in brand enhancing ways. 

Components of the SmartRecruiters TAS comprise the following:

SmartStart & SmartRecruit

A TAS is intended to drive efficiency, collaboration, and candidate engagement from the top to the bottom of your recruiting funnel. Our unified platform approach means native support of all the key functionalities required to optimize your talent pipeline and drive faster, higher quality hires into your organization. From a licensing perspective, please refer to more detail in the Software Licensing Policies section of this document. We provide a foundational, core product -- SmartRecruit -- that companies start with, along with a number of additional add-on products to further enhance specific areas of your recruiting process.

SmartRecruiters has two core products:

  • SmartStart is the free version of SmartRecruiters, with all you need to hire up to 10 roles at a time.
  • SmartRecruit is a customizable talent acquisition suite. Companies can expand the base features provided by SmartRecruit by purchasing add-ons.

Embedded Intelligence

SmartRecruiters offers data insights, AI, and workflow automation throughout the user interface of the system, so that end users are empowered to self-serve information and take intelligent action accordingly. Data insights are readily available where reporting of typical recruiting performance metrics come out-of-the-box and do not require additional configuration, AI is native to the platform to reduce repetitive screening tasks while driving productivity, and automation facilitates scheduled distributions of reports and task notifications to streamline workflow.

Analytics

In order to position talent acquisition as a strategic function, organizations must understand key performance indicators (KPIs) and demonstrate how hiring success impacts business success, using data & analytics. KPIs, including quality of hire, cost per hire, and time to fill accessible in real-time dashboards are hosted within the SmartRecruiters app. For a deeper level of analysis, advanced users can leverage the custom Report Builder function to generate on demand, ad hoc reports using standard and custom fields and schedule recurring delivery as required by an organization.

Historical data is kept in the end user’s personal data mart for easy access to all candidates, job, and user data for downstream reporting and analysis through internal tools.

Artificial Intelligence

Recruiters are overwhelmed with repetitive tasks like resume screening, which decrease efficiency and reduce the time spent with candidates. SmartRecruiters applies machine learning & data science to hiring, where our proprietary algorithms interpret large data sets and learn from candidates and recruiters to detect patterns and provide intelligent recommendations. Our Artificial Intelligence product, SmartAssistant, adds a layer of intelligence on top of your recruiting data and is available as an add-on. See section on SmartAssistant (Add-on Product)

Automation

When it comes to process improvement, SmartRecruiters leverages the data we have about candidates, jobs, and recruiters to provide personalized views, notifications, and activities that aims to improve end user productivity. To maximize candidate relevancy, our system automatically executes live searches across candidates, applications, and jobs for on demand results every time a user logs in. Finally, to ensure adoption of partner solutions potentially required in your hiring processes (e.g., local background check vendor) preferred vendors are surfaced contextually based on the job, location, and your needs.

Pre-Integrated Ecosystem

Pre-built connections and ease of implementation are one of the biggest benefits received via the marketplace. As vendors are accompanied by varying levels of complexity, there are three levels of marketplace integration supported by the SmartRecruiters platform.

  • Marketplace Partners: Native integrations to the SmartRecruiters marketplace. Can easily be activated and come at no additional cost to the customer.

  • Integration Partners: Pre-built standard integrations with minimal setup required. Costs include an annual fee plus technical support hours for setup & configuration.

  • Configurable Integrations: Configurable integrations with the main HRIS platform (Workday, SAP, Peoplesoft, Oracle…) to sync core objects such as jobs, candidates, users, org. Costs include an annual recurring fee plus technical support hours for setup and configuration.

Enhances Attract and Hire

SmartRecruiters knows that recruitment doesn’t simply start at the point an application is submitted. It’s important for organizations to invest in products that help talent acquisition teams nurture a community of candidates long before a position is available for which they are ultimately qualified.

As part of this add-on product, customers have access to the following additional sets of functionality:

  • Talent Communities: Features include configurable talent pools, community permissions, community page builder, advanced filters, and configurable lead management.
  • Lead Capture Forms: Features include editable form management, language localization, prospect merge rules, and support of work sample attachments.
  • Campaigns: Features include HTML email support, lead capture forms, scheduled campaigns, localization, and web page campaigns.
  • Campaign Audiences: Filters include candidate location, proximity, community application status and screening question answers.
  • Field Recruiting App: Features include access to our native iOS and Android Field Recruiting app and all associated authentication processes, and admins can manage which users have access for specific event needs.

SmartAssistant

Enhances Attract, Select, and SmartMobility

SmartAssistant adds a layer of intelligence on top of your recruiting data. SmartAssistant helps you save significant time and money while increasing candidate quality, driving employee mobility and improving diversity. Key functionalities in this add-on include:

  • Smart Screening: Features include automated scoring and filtering, match alerts, rejection learning, and matching “highlights.”
  • Talent Discovery: Features include matching against internal and external application pools and communities.
  • Job Marketing: Features include automated “Jobs for Me” emails to candidates based on their skills and qualifications.

SmartDistribute

SmartRecruiters understands that mid- to large organizations have pre-existing relationships with their global job board vendors. In an effort to ensure that posting can be managed and executed efficiently, tracked centrally, and ultimately evaluated with the intent of better understanding vendor ROI, SmartRecruiters allows you to manage all your job board contracts through our SmartDistribute add-on.

SmartConnect

Enhances Enterprise Cloud Platform

Customers that require HRIS integrations, access for single-sign on, or extensions of the SmartRecruiters TAS, such as data visualization and custom reporting, can gain full API access and both custom and productized HRIS connectors by adding SmartConnect.

Your actual list of available languages (in Locale Preferences) will depend on your company's Edition, and whether your company has purchased one or more languages.  In the case for our mobile apps, the language is determined by the language settings on your phone (if the language is available).
