SmartRecruiters

Displaying Internal or Public sets

Requires:
  • SmartRecruit
  • +
  • SmartMobility

When candidates apply, SmartRecruiters checks the job ad's visibility, and follows this selection logic:

  • When a candidate applies to an Internal job ad:
    • If there is a custom Internal set assigned to the job, SmartRecruiters will display that set on the application.
    • If there is no custom Internal set assigned, but the Default Internal set is active, SmartRecruiters will display the Default Internal set on the application.
    • If there is no custom Internal set, and the Default Internal set is inactive, then SmartRecruiters won't display any screening questions, even if there is a public set assigned to the job.
  • When a candidate applies to a Public job ad:
    • If there's a custom Public set assigned to that job, SmartRecruiters will display that set on the application.
    • If there is no custom Public set assigned, but the Default Public set is active, SmartRecruiters will display the Default Public set on the application.
    • If there is no custom Public set, and the Default Public set is inactive, then SmartRecruiters won't display any screening questions, even if there is an Internal set assigned to the job.

In other words, we'll only display Public sets on public job ads, and Internal sets on internal job ads.
